NWS Pittsburgh has issued the following-


WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM THURSDAY TO 10 AM EST FRIDAY.


WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 1 and 3 inches. Ice accumulations between one tenth and three tenths of an inch.


The National Weather Service Pittsburgh has requested that spotters submit ice and snow measurements Friday Morning. Fred has provided the following slide as a reminder on how to properly measure ice.


Please monitor 146.85 as we will be calling one or more Skywarn nets during the warning period.
